they did to me .. as I was NOT told it had this before my purchase ... so I was sent a new Connector Free that I put on my cable ... Ampeg on the phone told me that it was a better connection ... but the other end of My Cable still has NL4 ... so not sure what benefit I have !!!

a couple ways. the TC BQ500 i had did not have the issue of Buzzing like a blown speaker. but i did not like the sound of or lack of tone. the Ampeg V3 made this happen repeatedly. I spoke with mark a gollihur music and he had mentioned potentially the 300watts of the V3 might not be enough...

Copy that, I am more than happy to sell them to a fellow Doubleshot (maybe upshot if same speaker) ... if i find a cheap to free cabinet i might try it ... i was on an email with Eminence and they found a couple speaker with very similar specs for me after i sent them a picture of the box these...

the Ten2 Can sounds interesting !!! i will have to look that one up. so, my latest idea is to keep the beast, replace the bad speaker and ONLY use it on quieter gigs. and buy myself a good 1x15 cabinet for any other gigs. since the head I will be using the Ampeg Venture V7 has 700watts...

yes for sure !!! what an interesting experience it has been using this, even for just a few gigs. maybe some over excursion protection for the next iteration .. hoping someone runs with that idea and keeps this cabinet alive !!!

Hi Mike, High Pass Filter. No, I was not using a HPF. should i assume the upright itself would be producing those lower notes so the Doubleshot would be helping support everything above that for Clarity ??? thx for the reply john
