Definitely improved. It helps keep me engaged in it when I'm not in a position to practice. Makes me think about it and in an entertaining way. I've also gleaned a lot about band management, just from hearing the war stories. Yeah, there's a lot of deadwood here, but some real nuggets as well.

Two gigs this week. First two ever. Went pretty dang well. First one had a huge pa, but someone who didn't know how to run it... Second was a good friend helping us run off of our own gear. Guess which went better in the same outdoor space?

This was my first thought. It's been stable for some time prior to now though, and still crashes even when I unplug the FireWire. Really feels like a power or firmware issue to me, but that's total supposition. Just kind of hoping for a miracle here given that I just don't have time to get it...
