Just my 2 cents but I'd opt for the Cort because its a 30" scale v 28.6" scale. Easier to find strings for a 30" scale.

My go-to is a G&L Tribute Fallout. The magnetic field design pickup is what makes this bass. Followed closely by an SBMM Stingray SS, Squier VM Jaguar SS & a Gretsch Junior Jet. All are strung with GHS Brite Flats (groundwound/half round).

I like dark wood fretboards. Rosewood, Pau Ferro, Indian Laurel it doesn't matter because I can't hear a difference. The Black Walnut on the Gretsch Junior Jet bass also looks good. Give any of them a good coat of Music Nomad F-ONE Fretboard Oil for a deep, rich color. Please note I am not...
