    Yes dude! This is gonna be my fourth year. I think it is going to be one of the best years ever, especially for bass. sam casseday is supposed to be going too, the chosen one.

    Congrats to everyone on their acceptances. I was accepted into Don Palma's studio at NEC and Albert Laszlo's studio at Juilliard. I will be attending Juilliard in the fall.

    Wow, thats quite an excerpt list there. Heldenleiben is no walk in park by any means, neither are the rest of them. The hornsignal is really hard to play in the correct style. Its a pretty transparent solo so your intonation needs to be spot on or it will stick out like a sore thumb. The...

    Oh thats awesome, I have heard great things about both of them. I actually have some exercises by Bradetich that my teacher gave me, really great stuff. I study with Don Palma right now at NEC prep.

    Hahaha yeah, it's cause I have played it before, so I am relatively familiar with it. Since I am not doing anything like Mozart or Beethoven that can show my spicatto stroke, I need to make up for that by showing some other fast stroke.

    Hey, thats pretty cool that we are applying to almost all the same schools. I am playing koussevitzky, courante or minuets from the first suite, vivaldi sonata 3, excerpts from don juan, haydn 31 and brahms 2 symphony first movement.
