No idea about Dimoff, but im auditioning there and the website says they usually have 3 openings a year. No idea how Dimoff and Dixon split the studios, though. Im visiting this month, ill see what i can find out.

Hi adam! I have a close friend at CIM who's home for break and he told me that they currently only have 7 basses, which is a fairly small studio for them and that they're definitely looking for more.

I think so. On the nigh impossible chance Hal left, Curtis still has Edgar who does some lessons, and theyd probably get another player from Philly or another ungodly good teacher to take his place. Oh, and its one of two completely free music schools.

Actually, if that happened and you already submitted an application this year you would be the last class that didn't have the extra competition that Hal Robinson brought into the studio because a lot of people (like me) didn't submit an application that would have if they knew Robinson was going to IU, so I don't think it would be more competitive. On the other hand, if there was a question to who the teacher(s) at Curtis would be next year after Robinson left, do you think people with a particularily long drive would show up? I am clearly getting ahead of myself lol, I doubt he would leave Curtis, I'll believe it when I see it.
