Not all yamaha trb are japanese ... In that one someone quit the decal on the back of the body; at the back of the bridge ... I think it is indonesian ... But indonesian basses are the best ones after japanese basses in the asian manufacture ... It is in the right price ... you won't get...

I think he's a great musician ... In terms of how low-voiced are his basslines I think he is in the middle spectrum of bass ... Not so deep or basic, not so high either, right in the middle ... Not my favorite style in bass ... but that give him the oportunity of play a more dynamic arrengement...

hello ... Did somebody know who is the luthier of this bass ...

A good luthier could make a wood piece to fit it in the j hole with some glue... Also the colour ... The match can be seen but who cares ... You got wood where wood supose to go ... Or you can put a ramp like the Gary Willis bass to cover the color match...

Go for the 35" scale on MTD... The ibanez it's fine but the massive low B on the 35" is more agressive ... And when the rest of the band start to turn up the distortion an double kickdrum you going to need that extra weight on your bass
