Epifani Club! I've seen the "light"! - Part III

VERSATILITY: I have the DIST 210 and DIST 112 cabs that I use with a TC Electronics Staccato head. I play a lot of acoustic gigs and use 1 cab or both depending on the room size. I play 3 instruments (each instrument has its own memory preset EQ...then tweaked for the room/venue) including a 5...

    Warrior Club Part 2

I see that there seem to be two different Bartolini Jazz pickups used on recent Warrior Basses... I am familiar with the "X5" version the other seems to be a "Vintage" jazz version Can anyone comment on the differences in tone noise/hum etc?

    Oldest Bass you've played?

I played a 1840's German Flatback Upright Bass in college. Thought that might be the oldest before I saw the post above. The Flat back has a focused tone as opposed to a rounded back bass which has the big projecting sound.

    Wal vs Warrior

I am getting a Warrior (I don't know anything about the WAL). Swamp Ash body with 2 jazz pickups - love the tone of this bass. What made me decide to save for and buy a Warrior Bass is the playability (played a few at a Guitar show and fell in love)...slim neck and low action...light weight...

I am in Tega Cay (Fort Mill), SC Thinking about getting together a "Bass Summit" Really just a few of us who gig often...but also have "Serious Day Gigs"" which means we can afford high end instruments and equipment. This would be an opportunity to put all the toys in a room and compare...

    Warrior Club Part 2

Before you remove the Sparkle circuit could you describe the differences (tone) between this bass and your typical Warrior bass configuration. Also, previously in this thread, we had discussed that the Sparkle circuit may be included specifically to improve the tone and high end of the soap...
