Yeah, thats what I am leaning to. I like simplicity for the most part on my gear. I guess the only difference is the neck material on the both I listed. I thought for the price on the red one, I might get it.

Looking to pickup the TMB300. Sorry for the ignorance, just kind of confused and have a question. It states the pups are passive, but not so sure why the battery is needed? For the eq controls I assume? I did not think passive needed battery's. I just thought active pups always had a battery...

Thoughts on the purpose of the "tone" control knob. It already has bass, treble and mids. Not sure how much extra this would add since you already have a 3 band eq on board. I do understand what a tone knob does from playing guitar for 40yrs, but in this configuration it just got me thinking...
