I love my MIA P bass, but I also loved my fretless MIJ jazz bass... and my Ibanez 5 string. If you like it, and can afford it, I say buy it.

I always liked Duck Dunn and David Hood. Then I started to see just how many recordings Kaye was on. Just a few great rhythm sections made so much of the music that I grew up listening to. It seems like number of hits is quantifiable though. Having said that, I don't want to look it up.

The "with all due respect" tag means what it says. Most of the time it seems insulting because the target is not due any respect. I also despise when someone famous makes a public apology. Own your words and have a spine. Having said all of that, if you're in the wrong, own that too. Apologize...

I have an Ibanez SR405 and a Fender American Standard P-bass. Honestly, the Ibanez sounds and plays better to me. However, Geezer Butler played a P-bass. You might look for a Squire or a used Fender.

Bass arrived today! Attack Goat is still in transit.

So I got the money and ordered the bass... American Standard Precision in burst with maple neck. I also ordered an Attack Goat fuzz pedal.

Update: Getting the refund on the 10th. My dad talked me into the American Standard P Bass. I'm going to order the sunburst with maple fretboard.
