It's the subway 215, it's not that dark. But I think it's definitely handling the "mesa mids" differently than the sound system or the monitors for sure.

Just rechecked: it's post-EQ, Line level, which would explain a lot. I didn't used to have it post, and I vaguely recall a sound guy saying "don't you want your amp sound in the PA?"
