If I were in your position, I would either wait for the hydrive(Ive heard alotta good things about em), or get a carvin 4x10. In my opinion, carvin's stuff sounds way better than ampeg, plus it's cheaper.
It looks pretty nice. Hartke's top-of-the-line stuff is usually pretty frigin nice, so i'd imagine these speakers sound good. I dunno about the 1000 watt rating. That seems pretty high for a 4x10.
Ya, I know, and a head that puts out 600w at 8 ohms is goin to put out close to double that at 4 ohms. But it doesn't matter cuz im gonna score on a sweet deal on the br810 and an rl100 which i know will provide enough power. Thanks for the "get used gear" advice!!

Hola, I'm on a budget of basically $800. I need something LOUD. I was thinkin ashdown 600w head into a carvin 8x10. The watts are there and I heard this particular cab is amazing. Any other suggestions?
