Tech 21 GT 2 (Berhinger GDI21/TM300 Tube Amp Modeler) Makes for an Amazing Bass Drive Pedal!

Yep, my older GT-2 is fantastic. So many great tones from one pedal.

    Cross-Over (Crossover or Splitter) pedals

I built one as well but stupidly sold it. I wonder if he would be okay with either selling or releasing the gerber files so that people could make their own PCBs.

Valeton GP50 or Tonex or ??

Strangely enough, I picked up a Sonicake Pocket Master locally for 40 dollars. Haven't spent much time with it but pretty nice so far. That being said I'd still like to try a GP-5. There's a M-Vave Chocolate for sale locally as well.

Valeton GP50 or Tonex or ??

Hi all, I was thinking of entering the 21st century and getting a newer modeler pedal with a budget of around 200 dollars. I narrowed it down to the GP50 as the features look useful as compared to the GP5. I've looked at the Tonex stuff as well and it looks great but I'd like to have the...

    Brian Minato - Bass Titan

I've seen Brian many times live, mostly with his current band based out of Vancouver, the SLIP~ons Log in to Facebook. I agree, an amazing bass player and all-around musician. When I've seen him with the Slip's, he's rocking his Gibson Grabber.

    Origin Effects BASSRIG

When I stopped by recently to the Bellingham, WA Guitar Center for a show (High on Fire), they had a used SV which I tried out. It sounded very, very good in the brief time I played around with it. Really should have picked it up. Probably the best Ampeg or SVT sound I've ever tried.

Any DIY pedal builders on TB? Strut your stuff!

Usually a hum in a pedal indicates an open ground, as it's acting as an antenna for 60Hz noise. Make sure all your necessary ground points are tied to a common point or reference.

    Jackson JS3V vs Yamaha TRBX305

Yeah, as much as I liked the Jackson the Yamaha just felt better and seemed to be more comfortable to play.

    Jackson JS3V vs Yamaha TRBX305

Hi all, Sorry if this question has been asked a million times before, but I'm looking for a 600 dollar (Canadian) 5-string with actives. I've narrowed it down to the Jackson JS3V or Yamaha TRBX305 based on trying them and others at my local stores. My initial thoughts that the Yamaha felt...

Any DIY pedal builders on TB? Strut your stuff!

I believe that is correct. Like I said, it's a "simplified" version of the SVF.

Any DIY pedal builders on TB? Strut your stuff!

Decided to try my hand at a layout for the simple Alembic SVF that's been around for a while. I have yet to send the files to the fab house, so hopefully it works. I also changed the power supply to a ±9V supply which I nicked from Peter Rutter at VFE Pedals (brilliant designer). He uses a...
