The Genz-Benz 2x12 by itself. Your head into the 2x12 will do everything you mentioned that you want. The only 4x12 bass cab I have used was a Peavey TVX-4x12. More cab that you need, by far and it weighs as much as Long Island.

They are the same/similar to the EBMM Sterling. At least mine feel the same. ** edit** They feel nothing like the necks on my Stingray or Bongos.

IMHO, EBMM 5 string necks are a bit thin (side to side), but your finger muscles quickly learn to fret inward a millionth of an inch to keep the G string from slipping off the side of the fretboard.
