I have a 6 year old ampeg 115 cause I had to sell my mark bass stuff. The ampeg has been nothing but problems, always crackles and pops and volume goes up and down. Also had smoke come out once.

We'll I'm in no way being rude, but if your having clipping issues when you slap and need a compressor to do so I think your technique isn't right. You shouldn't need a compressor to slap nor have to do it hard enough to make the amp clip.

Needs matching head stocks and fretless necks.

The AC classic from f-bass sounds like a upright. It's also like 10000$ though.

So I have a question about circuit boards. From what I've seen if you wanna build let's say a chorus pedal. Online you can buy the circuit board but it's someone else's design based on a chorus pedal already out there. Aren't there lots of copy right issues with that? How do people sell DIY...
