First screen on my ZOOM B3 suddenly died!

Damn... This unit seems to have a lot of fans here and elsewhere and there aren't many people complaining about quality. Done a lot of search on the web and no one seems to have experienced something like this before...
Have you thought of taking the top of the case off (4 screws, from what I can tell) to see if you can spot a bad connection, or a connector off?
A long shot, but it might be worth it unless you aren't comfortable doing that. Your only recourse after that is your warranty, if it is still within that period.
EDIT: Actually, it's 6 screws - one in each corner and then one on either side of the battery case. If you do open it up, there is a small 2-wire connector to each screen that appears to supply power to that module. Check those out, if you are comfortable with that.

Look at the tiny connectors with the red/black wires.
When you pull the base off, the red/black wire connector from the battery case may pull off from the circuit board (upper right corner). Red is pin 1 and black is pin 2.

I purchased it three days ago from a dealer so it shouldn't be a problem to have it replaced...

Whoa...I never heard of that happening before. I own a zoom b3 and it still works fine. sorry to hear about your situation.
