Have you thought of taking the top of the case off (4 screws, from what I can tell) to see if you can spot a bad connection, or a connector off?
A long shot, but it might be worth it unless you aren't comfortable doing that. Your only recourse after that is your warranty, if it is still within that period.
EDIT: Actually, it's 6 screws - one in each corner and then one on either side of the battery case. If you do open it up, there is a small 2-wire connector to each screen that appears to supply power to that module. Check those out, if you are comfortable with that.
OK, back to the Zoom warranty at this point.
Too bad. Curious to hear how that goes.
I purchased it three days ago from a dealer so it shouldn't be a problem to have it replaced...
