Hi, this is quite a specific question but I've been looking for a little rig to bring to gigs, a Littlemark III and a Markbass Traveler 102P. Then a Markbass 800 tube with a 121 and 102P cab came up for a really good price. There is no way I'd have got this brand new I know it's overkill...

Thanks guys... I think I may have to think about getting the tuner first and the Zoom later. It's not like risking on some random overdrive or something a good tuner should last me a few years. But the Zoom seems like it may muddy the waters a bit and my brain is telling me to keep it simple...

I'm looking for a pedal tuner for bass, I'm torn between a TC Polytune (possibly the mini) or a zoom MS-60b. I kinda resent spending so much on a tuner and having to carry another pedal about, it is the most boring of pedals so the idea of some multi effects is appealing for the odd occasion...

I notice nobody's mentioned the Laney RB9, should I avoid this like the plague? I only mention it as I've got an RB4 at the moment which is why I'm looking to upgrade, it sounds OK but nothing to shout about. Seriously considering the Hartke LH500, I like the idea of extra power.
