I like it without the pick guard but B looks good too. It gives it a classic look and you can still see a lot of the finish.

Pickguard 1 is fugly.

me, I like pickguards to narrow the gap between the body and the strings, but on nice wood I'd prefer a clear one...

+1. And the gap on Laklands needs narrowing as far as I'm concerned. It's one reason why my Lull gets more play time than my Lak.
