Greetings!
My father is an accomplished woodworker but he's never built a guitar body before. I'm sure he could figure it out, but I need to help him with dimensions, templates, etc...
He lives in a retirement community with all the woodworking tools (and some incredible wood!) and wants to...
Greetings!
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction when it comes to finding like minded musicians.
Here's what I'm into:
Heavy, slow, doom, stoner, noise - I can play bass or drums
I'm also working on a solo synth project - also heavy, slow, improve, experiemental type stuff...
Not sure what type of music you're into, but a band called Kowloon Walled City uses one, into a Rusty Box, and then into a GK head and it sounds amazing. One of my favorite tones. I hope to find one someday.

Do you have other options than GC? Do you have your heart set on new? I'm suspicious about the quality of the new Fenders. I had a late 70's Hondo that, when set up properly and with new pickups, sounded better than many of the Fenders at GC. I brought it in and compared. Then I picked up...
I stick with small clubs. Lots of interesting non-mainstream music happening out there. I saw Helms Alee at a club in Portland and stood right in front of the band and didn't have to fight anyone for space. I also paid $10. They were amazing and the sound, since it came right from their...
