I can see how someone who owns a Fodera or in the market for a Fodera might consider it for a back up for something similar to take where they wouldn't dare take their Fodera to. Ive known players to be in cue waiting for their custom build, go out and buy something like this while they wait...

How many people have decided between Fender and Sire? EBMM and Sire? You would be surprised. I’ve seen these referred to as the Faux dera on YouTube reviews. Search faux dera Sire on YouTube and see what happens.

I’m with you. PJ doesn’t look right. 35 scale doesn’t feel right. They are most likely 10 plus pounders. Hard pass for me. Sometimes it’s hard to accept the knock off substitute when you have and are completely satisfied with the real deal . It might look like , but I doubt if it plays like...

The way I understand it is that a portion of the construction of these basses are done in China and then finished up in Canada . Is that correct ? Similar to MTD Kingston line?? Also high level workmanship and attention to detail.

That is a sweet looking bass. Dingwall is such high quality . I’m sure you would make good use of it. If you can get something that you will enjoy , why not!?!?!
