Hi there !!! I’m still playing the JD-1 every day since I got it in November 2025 and I love it but it was shipped with some issues. First one, the pickup wasn’t properly grounded, and had an aweful buzz when some pole pieces were touched. SBMM sent me a new pickup for free. Second issues...

They are cream like I suspected.

First impressions : The pickup is so hot. I lowered it like a lot of people said. Now it’s perfect. The neck feels amazing !!!! The weight is good : 4.3kg. And the look is awesome !!! Overall the bass is confortable fun to play !!!

Hi, As I said I think there are two kinds of Zodiac DE: The Chinese ones which are black BXPs with Seymour Duncan pickups and the mirror pickguard. And the Korean ones, black body, SD pickups, mirror pickguard and the neck with quick access truss rod. Hope it helps.
