Idk of much beyond the SansAmp series so suggest me a DI that has a decent EQ and an FX loop that turns on with the DI. I don't care for presets necessarily or parallel outputs and overdrive and stuff.. but if it's there I'll take it smaller the better. generally no budget here

Yes that's the one. It never occurred to me that FSR stood for Fender Special Run. Anyway I can't really justify buying another bass unless it's cheap but decent like the heavenly Squire CV Jazz.. but I already own an AmSpec J so I figure I should aim for a different end of the tonal spectrum...
