    Vintage Encore Bass Identification Help

Update: I received the bass yesterday. It is in shockingly good shape and it'll be an easy fix to get up and running. A few observations: 1. It's definitely not a homemade body. It's as well made as could be from whatever year and east asian factory this came from. It is a plywood body with a...

    Vintage Encore Bass Identification Help

I thought that was possible, but the layout is interesting for a homemade body. There has to be an easier neck to use for a homemade body too.

    Vintage Encore Bass Identification Help

Hi, I sometimes peruse Shopgoodwill.com to see if anything weird pops up. I usually set a budget of $50-75 to see if I can snag something weird for a project. I found and won this thing...Any idea what it is? I've tried to find info on line but no luck.

    Unknown 5 string body

Hi, I'm toying with the always bad idea of another project. This time it's salvaging a 5 string. Can anyone help me I'd this body at least a direction. I thought MM because of the bridge holes, but the pickguard is the puzzle. It's active, not sure if that narrows it down. Anyway, let me know...

    Chicago Brand

It's close, but with a maple board and black blocks. The pickups are like mini jazz pickups, black with poles.

    Chicago Brand

They are odd, first thing I noticed. They resemble jazz pups, but are noticeably smaller. It's like if you cut the plastic on a standard jazz pickup so you have only what you need. The bridge is a standard old school 2 saddle bridge like what you'd find on a 50s P bass. They're asking 109.

    Chicago Brand

Hi, A local music store has an early 70s Chicago brand short scale jazz clone. It looks like it's related to the Teisco/Matsumoto line of basses but I found nothing. It's relatively cheap, so I thought about picking it up. Any ideas as to what it is? Larry

Hi, Can anyone tell me something about this bass? It's the standard Harmony P clone, but I can't find anything on country or material in any of the harmony resources. Thanks! shopgoodwill.com - #23697168 - Harmony Electric Bass Guitar H9200N w/ Case - 8/23/2015 6:05:00 PM
