    I purchased the following:Musician's Gear MGMBG Molded ABS Electric Bass Case Item #:1340118421288 POS #: 114554579 from Guitar Center for my Fender Mustang. It fits perfectly. I was please to find that it also fit my Squire Bass VI and my Sire Marcus Miller 34" scale.

    Thanks JimmyM. I'll browse Pickguard Planet. Still searching for a handsome short scale too. I've even thought about converting my 6 string Squire Bass VI to a 4 string by changing the nut and the bridge. It's your classic sun burst and really looks nice.
