I just have received this comp today and I still don't know how to utilize the blend knob for making a good tone. So, this knob "blends" the dry tone and compressed tone together. i.e., un-compressed tone also comes through the pedal to the speaker with the compressed tone, am I right? Then, how...

Would maple top on M7 make any tonal difference in comparison with M5 without top, e.g. better resonance or more clarity of the sound?

When the amp volume is up, the noise is getting louder. Considering your advice, today I sent my amp to the store I ordered; they will check out whether there is any problem in the amp. Thank you for your help!

Finally I have decided on Rumbe 25 and received it yesterday. I love the warm sound of it! But there comes standing hiss/noise with or without connecting my bass; it is getting louder when the volume is up. My previous amps haven't make that noise in the same place at home. Is it kind of normal...
