After seven years I got the live sound I was looking for

Thanks 4Mal. As for the Wal bass I've played them and while they are amazing instruments, I prefer my Thumb. I will not be burning anything anytime soon lol. I still have my MIM fender J, which still sees occasional action.

After seven years I got the live sound I was looking for

How to manage being in several bands, rig-wise.

I'm in several bands and to get around I saved up and purchased a few very awesome things: GK MB Fusion: 3lb 500w Hybrid Head. It's tiny and awesome Peavey Tour 2x10: Ultra Light and small enough to fit in my front seat. "Beater Bass": Though Not at all a beater bass, I picked up a Mexican...

    Surprised

---Remember, it doesn't matter how good the pickled panfish patte tastes if all I'm looking for is a damn good burger and fries---Ground Pounder That sir, is beautiful, and I get what you mean. That's why I made sure to lookout for more prog rock groups than traditional blues based rock and...

    Surprised

First: This is ranty So it's probably not a good read, but I'm going to assume other people have had similar experiences... So a small bit of background: I majored in classical performance on double bass in college and in my spare time outside of rehearsals I decided to pick up electric...
