    Vulfpeck doesn't rehearse

Ok. I think you’re mincing words at this point because all I am saying is some of us will take all the playing time we can get, whether because we “need it” or not is not something I care to argue. The fact is that the guys in VP are playing for hours every day in group situations, and rather...

    Vulfpeck doesn't rehearse

I agree - my statement was a bit hyperbolic but intended to highlight that many TB regulars are weekend warriors that can use all the rehearsal they can get.

    Vulfpeck doesn't rehearse

Lesson? Unless you are at Vulfpeck level, you should probably rehearse given the chance.

Have you nailed John Taylor's tone on Rio (Duran)?

I know this thread is old, but I originally learned this line way back in the early oughts, and last night I decided to dust it off (inspired by watching JJ Blair's IG post going through the stems). First off, those ghost notes are a little tricky at first, but once you get on the horse and work...

    Rush at Kia Forum

Really the only thing I can find to complain about is that Thunderbird. It seems unnatural for Geddy to be playing such a thing.

You do you. It's certainly not something I would do frequently. I typically would say you need to pay me to see ANY show in an arena. But to me this is different. I would also pay $500 to see Macca in a giant cavern, degraded voice and all. As background, this was actually intended to be a...

    Rush at Kia Forum

There are floor resale seats available at sub $500 for the shows I looked at today. I think they added enough shows where it's not completely insane. But yeah, if you think the only place worth sitting is the first 25 rows on the floor, you are paying $1,500. It is what it is. It's not a Rush...

    Rush at Kia Forum

Uh, no, it's not unless you are buying a resale floor seat near the front. I have floor seats for Dallas and they cost me around $500/per. Definitely not cheap, but not 2k. And I am sure there are or were plenty of fine seats for much less.

    Leather straps

Levy's, padded. I have them on all my basses except inexplicably on one of my P basses.

    I'll genuinely miss Stephen Colbert...

I get where you're coming from, but all the OP did was mention the talent of someone whose show is ending. The rules are the rules, if they need to be flagged here, it's a sad commentary on the world.

Pickup Height - Rules of Thumb (MIM P bass)?

Wow that was an old one. But you will be glad to know I took out the shim and put the original bridge on and all was well.

    Ever have an ocular migraine?

I've gotten these for many years. They were originally accompanied by a bad migraine, but after a year or so of acupuncture focusing on that issue, I only get the vision part now, with a small manageable lingering headache after. Usually takes about 30 mins for the visuals to clear. My father...
