you should go with the beringer 300W ultrabass its got a clean and distorted input and it sounds great:bassist:

:bassist::mad:I went to GC last week and picked up numerous different basses i playedon an ernie ball an epiphone a warwick(pretty Decent) a B.C. Rich and a fender all sounded great exept for the damn fender i tuned it changed t a different amp i sounded horrible so i figured it was just that...

i like j basses but yeah they just have a different feel and sound listen to a good jazz song and see what there dealing with R.I.P Cliff Brton
