I would have had to take it back to the states for that. This baby had been PLAYED! Its frets were so worn down. All I can say is I left it in better condition than I found it.

I was too scared to do that. The volume pot was disconnect and the input jack needed some tlc. But I had no tools...

I wanted to take the neck off so bad. But there was no way I could reuse these screws.

I could tell every piece of finish had been removed and a shim was behind the neck. I loved this string.

I found this bass on a trip to cuba. And yes, it stayed there. I changed out the rusty strings and adjusted the truss rod. It looks like it's had a rough life. Totally stripped at one time. My guess is a p-bass neck and a body from a peavey. What do you think talkbass?
