    Your Suggestion As The Best High-End Bass Preamp for Recording - 2017

    TD-1 with NOS Tube. Clean, clear, no noise; you can make fractional or huge adjustments with the tone controls. This IS what your Bass sounds like. TD-1 into IP-310 Cab. TD-1 into SVT / NV425.. Or a Meat Smoke head with DI. Add a dose of TI Flats. Enjoy :)

    Is the SVT too big for home?

    You are definitely not over doing it .... Watch your volume and enjoy! It's ok to feel the groove.... You might consider two SVT Heads and add a 2-15 :D
