I am currently looking at a Bernd Dolling german bow myself. Just out of curiosity how heavy is yours? and if you don't mind, how much did you pay?

I currently own a W.R. Schuster (german) and it's 129g. I'm also currently trying a Berndt Dolling which is 141g. However, the Dolling has a frog made of bone that is 10g's heavier than the Schuster frog. Does anyone know if the weight distribution makes the difference or is it the total...

I'm looking for something light and portable for both upright and electric and i've seen some cube amps that seem to do the job. Does anyone have any suggestions?

looking for a better more powerful e string. got any suggestions of an e that would sound good with belcanto's?

I'm putting belcanto's on around wednesday or thursday and a concert and a gig this weekend. Never mind the constant de-tuning, do you thing they'll sound and feel okay by the weekend?

i have a realist pickup but i lost the extra plastic black ring things that you put on the g-string to hold the pickup. does anyone know where I might find one?
