I'm curious, Brendan...how do you feel the sound differs between the two? I have a bubinga Corvette and I love it dearly, but it is HEAVY, and like the OP, my shoulders and back are not in the greatest shape.

I bought an Ampeg BA210 brand new about four months ago and I love the tone but not long after I got it, it started making a loud humming noise (escalating to an obnoxious droning) at times. If I turn it off, the noise ramps up as the amp powers down, then shuts off. Then when I turn it back...
