First custom paint job! Whaddaya think? (Pics)

I have no idea about the color scheme selection. The back was pretty shred up and this was kind of a spur of the moment paint job. In hindsight the contrast will probably look really weird but it could serve useful. (Behind the back/neck bass solos anyone?) And good god, why is that loading so...

First custom paint job! Whaddaya think? (Pics)

Hey guys, well this is my first shot a custom paint job and its not the greatest but so far, I'm pretty fond of it. Its the back of a beat up red ibanez GSR200 so I thought it'd be a good candidate for some rebassification. I guess its still a work in progress but what do you think? [Invalid...

SOLD FT/FS: Spector Rebop Flamed Black w/Aguilar 18V Preamp

Oh man this is enticing, beautiful body. I've never played a spector but have always had my eye one them. How heavy is this baby? Is it more of a low end sound?

What is the most versatile bass around

^^^For a cheaper bass, I'd definitely back this recommendation. The GSR200 is about as versatile and worthwhile as you can get for around $200 (and usually lower). DEFINITELY change the pickups though, thats for sure. It doesn't endure as well as I'd like it to (Goes out of tune if you look at...

    Any one played a Lutarius

I've been looking into some more boutique-esqu basses and have come across the opportunity to buy me a lutarius, it seems to be a great MusicMan esque bass, but other than playing it a bit and checking at gguitars.com I don't have much familiarity with it. Does anyone here have some nice long...
