Yes, you're right about that. But if I want to go practice on the balcony while looking at the stars, it's not practical to carry the Fender Rumble over there. :) In addition, the Vox AmPlug has integrated drum rhythms to accompany my practice. I like it.

In fact, the "try before you buy" rule at this point is a little complicated, given the state of emergency that we are experiencing. I don't think at this point I would feel comfortable testing instruments that I don't know what hands they were in.
