I have a 32" Big McNeely that I had built, and have a custom body shape in Progress now which will be a 33" 5 string.

NBD: Lawalin 28.5" LED Short Scale

The switch is to turn the lights on or off. One knob chooses the lighting effect, and the other chooses the color.

NBD: Lawalin 28.5" LED Short Scale

I do still have it. It's a cool bass. Definitely a hollow body vibe. About as unique as they come.

    Rustic/weathered boutique basses

Thanks for all of the helpful suggestions. I ended up choosing to go with Cindy Guitars for the build. One solid piece of live edge walnut for the body and neck. They had it planned for a jaguar shape with a reverse headstock, and i like it. Gonna do a 33" 5 string. Hopefully my photo attaches.

Those are. I have been very tempted to grab one in the past! On the spendier side. Hoping for something in the $2-5k range

    Rustic/weathered boutique basses

I've seen these before. Don't love the logos on many of them, but otherwise they check a lot of boxes. May need to look at them again. And they're here in WA.

    Rustic/weathered boutique basses

This could be an interesting option. Definitely great instruments. Would be curious if he has some wood that looks nasty enough

    Rustic/weathered boutique basses

Birdsong has made some beauties, and I've owned a couple of their basses in the past. I'm stepping away from short scales lately though. This wood is right up my alley.

    Rustic/weathered boutique basses

Hoping you guys can help me find what I'm looking for. I'd like to find a quality bass that looks old, natural, rustic and weathered. Not a standard relic, but something knotty, barn wood, holes, etc... Please share any builders you're familiar with that do this type of instruments. Thanks!

Tube Sound Using Pedal w/ PJB Gear

I don't have any experience with the Noble, but running my PJB cabinets with a Demeter combo amp definitely gets the warm tubey sound. I have a few PJB combo amps though, and hoping to find a pedal solution that will get me the same warmth as the Demeter.
