Hello I see a lot of Jazz fusion bass players using 5 and 6 string basses. Is it necessary to have more than 4 strings for Jazz fusion? What are the advantages?

I noticed after I added some neck relief I adjusted the intonation and my B string saddle is now pretty far back. Is that normal?

I just changed my stock D'Addario strings and went with DR Hi Beams .130 and it sounds incredible. I felt the neck was to straight and adjusted my truss rod for a little neck relief and had to intonate it. I was surprised how easy it was to setup. How do other Spector 5 string owners like their...

I just recently bought my first Spector and I was wondering when I change the strings do I need to unlock the bridge. I will be using the same gauge but different brand of strings.

I got my Spector Euro LX5 bass last week. Best bass I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is top shelf. Was in tune and stayed in tune right out of the box. I have to get a hardcase keep this beast safe. I'll post pics soon.

Do you go through a lot of batteries?
