Spector Euro LX 5 String Change

I just recently bought my first Spector and I was wondering when I change the strings do I need to unlock the bridge. I will be using the same gauge but different brand of strings.

Actually no. If it’s an older Spector bridge without the intonation screws, the saddles can just fall out. Keep them locked until you are all strung up and then unlock them to do action/intonation changes.

Perfect! It's such a beautiful bass and the setup was perfect out of the box I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks for the info!
