Am Deluxe was always at the heel.

The maple usually feel comfortable, natural. The white bonding on rosewood has seemed very angular in the past.

I love it doesn’t have any binding.

This is a fantastic deal for this bass. Anyone who is looking for a P or PJ should consider this bass.

Drop D tuner was not original to the S1 Jazz or any other Am Std Jazz I’m aware of. The BA III is probably adding 1/2 lb to the weight. Most of my Jazz are 9.5.
