Yes I know,that's why I keep it a little Back...The mix blend (Swr) is 65% Rbi preamp and 35% Swr,with + 7 db 200 Hz Boost on Swr preamp to compensate..
But if you are looking for a particular sound,you can use The Rbi blend 100% Sometimes you need to have a Mid-scoop sound into the mix..
Anyway...
No Aural Enhancer Bypass or circuit Mod, but just add a SansAmp Rbi Through (receive) effect loop Amp and you'll get the best possible result...
No more Mid-scoop sound!!!
More full rounded sound
More Punch and Dynamics
Much more Power and Growl...
And an infinite possibility of sound modeling...
I was looking for the same problem with my TE Ah400 SMX I was not sure .. with my active basses gain is always set about 8 or 9 (no use for the active pad) to have the right input signal,the only one able to drive hard the gain is my passive yamaha BB414 gain 6/7 ..anyway I would recommend...
