Swr Super Redhead Mid-Scoop Solved! SansAmp RBI

No Aural Enhancer Bypass or circuit Mod, but just add a SansAmp Rbi Through (receive) effect loop Amp and you'll get the best possible result...
No more Mid-scoop sound!!!
More full rounded sound
More Punch and Dynamics
Much more Power and Growl...
And an infinite possibility of sound modeling through the mix of the two preamps with the Swr Effects Blend
The combination of the 2 Preamps Swr (Tube preamp is very clear Hifi sound) and Rbi (Solid state fat and Punchy sound) is Awesome, Best Much-Great Tone IMO
But you can also decide to use one or the other,
You just have to connect the Uneffected output of the RBI to the instrument input of the Swr
For me the SansAmp RBI is the best choice in this type of application,it can be inserted in the appropriate Swr Rack unit
Aesthetically it is so Beautiful !!!

I see you have the Blend dialed back quite a bit on the RBI. Just note that, with the Blend at 100% the Sansamp RBI has quite a large mid scoop as well.

Yes I know, that's why I keep it a little Back...The mix blend (Swr) is 65% Rbi preamp and 35% Swr,with + 7 db 200 Hz Boost on Swr preamp to compensate..
But if you are looking for a particular sound, you can use The Rbi blend 100% Sometimes you need to have a Mid-scoop sound into the mix..
Anyway If you keep the Rbi blend close to 50% you still get a good sound with No Mid-scoop in evidence
