    Anyone have experience with BASSMODs Basses?

    I've got the 5 string jazz (K5) with Aguilar pups. Blew my fender V and Warwick streamers away. Just ordered a fully custom pbass 5 from them. I love my bassmods! The slap tone is great and the pick tone is huge. Neck feels awesome and looks fantastic.

    The only issue there is if I cut those the other black and red wired are connected only to the old school red and black speaker outputs as opposed to the quarter inch jacks. I'm on my way to see someone right now about it, hopefully he can figure it out and I can learn a thing or two

    Never mind, they're connected by the wires that are tied to the Lpad.

    So I took a closer look and if I'm not mistaken, shouldn't there be a wire connecting the two speakers directly to each other if it was wired in series? This looks a little funny to me

    It Looks like the crossover is wired to the old school speaker jacks and the 1/4 inch jacks. I'll look again when I get home.

    It's the 210T, I'm looking right now and the tweeter is not connected I'll add a pic in case anyone wants to see how it's wired. note the 2 wires that aren't connected and are tied to the other wired are the ones that were making it parallel.     He used an impedance tester. Kind of looks like a guitar pedal, and he also checked the speaker jack with a voltmeter tool. I'm not experienced with these things but that's what I saw when I was in watching him do it. It read something like 12.6 ohms which would make it a 16 ohm cab I guess

    Ok I'll mention that. Is it possible that the tweeter prevents those harsh notes from dropping the impedance?

    It does have a tweeter but I'm not sure he even wired it in with the loudspeakers
