Yea, sorry my mistake. That's my job talking there lol.

    Snake head cable

I have three Rattlesnake cables. Each is configured in a way that suits a specific function. The instrument end is a snake head (45 degree jack with exposed rubber jacket.) It wraps nicely around the strap with no issues. I would think the nylon end would work too but it's quite stiff. The cable...

DiMarzio Model P Too Hot.. What can I do?

Mine sound so good in my 80's MIJ P. I would lower them a wee bit to see if that helps. These pups have good lows with added grind which is nice for lots of different music. Not as polite solo but they work so good in the mix.

The Bergantino HG312: 3-12” Sealed design, 3-12” Neodymium Magnet Woofers

It's amazing what a small aluminum hand truck can carry. I use one quite often to get into tricky load ins. I think 50 pounds is reasonable.

    Why multiple basses?

I'm my opinion, you only need two. One primary and one back up. I have nine. Six electric and three acoustic. Most are P basses. Why? because to me they are like artwork. Different colors, hardware, electronics, wood. Each sounds slightly different. I like to think that they bring inspiration...

    Slinky Flatwounds… kinda meh?

I could not get into them at all even after a month. Too much grind and clank. I prefer old Fatbeams or Sunbeams. I've been using D'addario tapes for thumpy stuff.

It seems more difficult to navigate.

    Club Sandberg (part 2)

So I've struggled a bit with the tone of my Sandberg California P bass (active/passive). It's the finest feeling and best playing bass I've ever owned but it's been just a bit too brittle and grindy sounding to fit in with a lot of the music I've been playing. Not wanting to mess around with the...

    DR Fatbeams oh my!

After primarily being a Sunbeam player I have recently fallen in love with DR Fatbeams. Had a set on my Fender Precision E series for about four months and they still sound great. Very articulate with sweet low mids and smooth lows. A little rough from what I'm used to but worth it. Although I...
