I moved mine onward to a friend. He loves it as a basic starter kit for late night stuff when his kids are sleeping.
There is quite a gap between it and some of the higher end devices out there but quickly 10x in cost.
imo, it’s not a bad device but it’s not going to replace things like...
I think it comes down to the cost of our hobbies. Music is actually an affordable hobby when it comes to it.
If my wife ever mentions my expenses I ask her how much her friends husbands spend on golf.
It all adds up.
Circling back on keyboards, what do you fine folks think of the Yamaha Reface gear? Similarly, on the cheap end of the spectrum, how about the mvave smk37?
Bump. Often shopping in this direction. Not afraid of an external module and midi keyboard.
Yamaha reface caught my eye.
I have 88keys but they’re so big I never use it. Want something easily set up and able to run from the couch in the evenings.
Not sure how many keys is too few given...
I actually think we needed this one. I’ve refrained from posting my compact boards with multi-multi’s in the compact pedalboard thread. Didn’t feel at home.
Will have to snap some shots.
I’ve never let a late night of work stop me from unboxing and at least giving the toys a tickle for an hour or so before hitting the sack.
If I didn’t, curiosity would kill me and I’d be up tossing and turning for at least that long anyways.
