Continuing the 'multi-multi' theme, this is my latest iteration. Previously, the Plethora X1 was a Sub'n'Up mini. The X1 does everything the Sub'n'Up did with the added benefit of multiple TonePrints. Previously, the Sub'n'Up had a single custom TonePrint that had two basic configurations which involved turning the knobs from all CCW for Octave down, and fully CW for Octave up, with associated Pre-EQ, Drive, Modulation and Post-EQ all linked to various knob positions. The Plethora X1 allows switching between those 2 at the press of the footswitch. For those two, the knobs are not linked to anything so if they get knocked or moved it makes no difference. I've also been able to create Octave Up options using the 'Brainwaves Pitch Shifter' and 'Quinessence Harmony' instead of the Sub'n'Up, so all in all it is happy days, at least for now. Only downside with the Plethora X1 ia that it was noisy on shared power, so I had to re-think the supply arangement:

I actually think we needed this one. I’ve refrained from posting my compact boards with multi-multi’s in the compact pedalboard thread. Didn’t feel at home.

Will have to snap some shots.

Thats my ‘main’ board that I use for 2 different basses + e-cello, omnibass, and now tinkering with electronic mallets shooting for a proto-cyber tiki group feel. The 80+ is super handy for that as it does the usb audio i/o to ipad and back.

I left my GK plex off as I have it connected to my computer interface. Also, where would you put a looper pedal in the chain order?

I'd prefer my Plethora X3 but can't fit it so went with the HX One

FWIW I consider the Source Audio C4/Mothership control and Spectrum as well as other pedals from them as multi effects as well. They help me get a lot of sounds from deceprively 'simple' boards.

Yes. Tried and true, and even though I recently had a major catastrophe with it (internal battery died after 25 years), I was able to get most everything back where it was before (at least 90% so), and it just plain works. Kind of a super solid workhorse for me.

Most of my board iterations have have a multi-FX unit on it, and over the years most single-purpose pedals have fallen away more and more. My current board is just an HX Effects providing all my effects, and a Tonex One for my amp modeler.

Super flexible, super compact, and works for both guitar and bass (since I play both).

I’ll use the zoom for octave up when I’m transcribing, or maybe a little reverb. So it’s def somewhat useful. But the rest of the chain sounds so good it normally stays in tuner mode.
