You answered very well. It can't be a bad thing but deciphering totally new stuff is important too. And I love to do that, I just don't want to learn a new pattern in a wrong way. It would be terrible.

Hi everyone ! Sorry if it's been said in a way I didn't understand. Do you think it's a good thing to learn new rhythm patterns with music that you already know how it must sound? Or just to maintain some acquired skills ? Or is it to easy and not worth the time ?

I will definitly grab this one on day 1. I'm still far from being a good reader but why not add this book to my journey. And I'm sure it's purely musical and not a bunch of formulas like 1-3-1-a.

Thank you for your input. I will probably buy the book one day. I'm totally into this "mastering the fretboard in depth" kind of stuff. I already work on Gary Willis and Todd Johnson's concept and I love it, but I want to see everything.

Yes, I fully understand and I will follow your advice. I didn't mean to skip any step and I will certainly revisit a lot these lessons. I just feel packages 1 and 2 are the "reading ones" and 3, 4 and 5 are more vocabulary oriented.
