    Genz Benz ShuttleMAX 12.0 Noise/Hiss Problem. Bad tube?

    I had this issue with my GB 9.0. It has a tube preamp but no fet. I smacked the top of it, cause it was irritating me, and the hissing stopped. Hasn't come back in a month. Don't know what was causing it, but it's something to try :)
