Fender Showman (brownface vs blackface) for bass?

I use a 1966 Showman and a 1X15 tone ring cab loaded with a D140 - great for bass. I have a second custom cab (quite a bit lighter than the tone ring) with a K140 - also sounds great.

    The Official Hagstrom Bass Club

New addition - just picked up a 1965 Concord (No. 647850) to go with my 1965 Hag 1 - both shown with my 1966 Fender Showman (15" ring tone cab) - With two Hags can I get a number?

    Fender Rumble Club

My main amp is a 1966 Showman with the 15" ring tone cab - very sweet sound - but HEAVY, especially the cab at almost 70 pounds. I have been thinking about getting a Rumble V3 115 cab so I have a lighter (less than 40 pounds) choice, and also an extension cab for larger gigs. Will the new V3...

    Ampeg SVT 7 Pro Club

A friend offered me a good deal on an STV Pro 7 when he heard I was considering getting a PF500/115HE. My question is would the Pro 7/115HE be a reasonable match? Could I mount the Pro 7 to the flip top on this cab (the Pro 7 is only slightly larger than the PF500)? Thanks for any insights.

    The Official Hagstrom Bass Club

My first bass was a red Hagstrom I in 7th grade (1965). I had it through high school. Stopped playing bass after college and decided to pick it up again. After getting a Washurn Stu Hamm acoustic I really missed the Hag, so off to Ebay I went. Found a red 1965 Hag I. Great condition - great...
