He's crazy good man. His vocals have ALWAYS blown me away. One of the most impeccable back up singers in rock music. Heck the reason all those choruses sound so sick is just thanks to his crazy high pitch backing vocals. They always added to the huge van halen party rock sound.

Our drummer uses the basic Shure SE115-CL sound isolating earphones. With one of the cheap little Behringer XENYX 1002FX Mixers and a headphone amp to give him his own personal submix. It helps him out a bunch when it comes to keeping time.

Man.....it would be pretty awesome to see a Matt Freeman signature bass. I personally think those things would sell just as well as any Hoppus or Wentz bass.
