I have a Yamaha BB300 on the way and want to replace the tuners with hipshot licensed ultralights. Not sure if I need the 1/2" or 3/8" version, and don't have the instrument here to measure. Somebody here knows?

I thought Jensen's description of a bass sound was a bit unconvincing....

Guys- I bought a pair originally slated for a guitar cab, but Jensen suggests they are suitable for bass as well (sealed/ported cab for that, of course). Would be glad to get others' experiences with these drivers.

Bass parts will be played by me, a guitarist, for a recording project in Allman Brothers style. Using a P bass with passive electronics; going direct for recording if possible. Am I splitting hairs, or will there be much of a difference for this application? What about gigging (this possiblity...
