I actually bought it like this at a bargain price. Even today, I'm surprised that with the Kiloton's original price (around 600 bucks?), someone paid for a professional stripping and refinish job, only to end up selling it again just two months after that mod.

Here is my Kiloton Tribute with a natural nitro open pore finish (after removing a thick Irish ale poly layer), now wearing its new cream pickguard (Pickguard Heaven). For those who have any doubts, I love this bass both for its hardware and the neck profile and finish. It’s an absolute beast!
