I play a bunch of grind, but we play around with alot of doom sounding stuff. We have a ****** selection of pedals tho. I use a nice fuzz pedals,grind pedal, and grunge pedal and can usualy get sum pretty good sounds.But I need a better selection

They are monsters. I been researchin' a little since I made this thread, and from what I've learned its a 1967 kustom frankenstein but cant find much other then that.

I just picked up a kustom head and cab. Got it from a friend who didnt know much about it. THings in ridiculous good condition. I was trying to find a little more information on it tho.

Then use the money 2 buy a cheap fender clone neck
then use the rest to get a good new bass like someone said before.

Guys at the music shop measured it out n set the bridge.
Works n sounds relatively decent.
The guys at the shop said i could part the thing out for 700 easy.
Saw one of these necks on ebay from the same year go for 800 bucks with no tuners.
A friend of mine got ahold of this bass working for his landlord.Told me he'd sell it to me for 60 bucks.He didnt know anything about it.Brought it to the local guitar shop 2 see what all was in it.
Not sure what the pickups are. Think they are really old gibson pickups.
1976 Fender jazz bass...
I have a 2002/03 MIM Jazz bass with a BBII bridge.Bought it used about 2 years ago. Its had some work done to it. Rewired new bridge etc. I was thinking about putting some active pickups in it. Looking at the EMG-MJ pickups, and was wondering if they where any good? What others should I look at?
